Take time to tune up your workout

Exercisevideosx-blog200 You may have already done some pushups this morning, but did you use the correct form? Have you ever wondered how to use those big exercise balls (aka stability balls) without falling off? Need some tips on using hand weights?

Exercise experts with the IDEA Health & Fitness Association, a group of health, wellness and fitness professionals, created one-minute online fitness videos to demonstrate different exercises that build strength, flexibility, balance and agility. You can pick the ones that target the body part that needs the most work. The videos clips star personal training experts Keli Roberts and Anthony Carey.

“We want to encourage people to do exercises safely, and we want to give them fresh ideas,” says Kathie Davis, executive director of IDEA.

Another way to change up your routine is to buy a new exercise DVD. There are many really good workout DVDs available including some recommendations from top fitness experts. Or you get an inexpensive pedometer and start walking more.
